We are seeking an experienced Epic Ancillary Principal Trainer responsible for leading training strategy, curriculum development, and activation support across Epic Ancillary applications, including Willow, ASAP, OpTime, and Beaker.
This role supports enterprise-wide Training, Design, Development, Requirements (TDR) and Activation readiness across multiple Epic domains. The Principal Trainer will ensure successful end-user adoption, competency, and workflow standardization for highly specialized clinical and ancillary systems.
This position plays a critical role in capturing Epic Ancillary expertise not covered within other training tracks (Inpatient, Outpatient, Cadence/Referrals, or Specialty Imaging).
Qualifications
- Epic Certification in Willow, ASAP, OpTime, and/or Beaker (required)
- Strong Epic Principal Trainer or Epic training experience
- Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, or optimization projects
- Background in clinical, ancillary, or hospital operational workflows
- Experience developing and delivering instructor-led and virtual training programs
- Strong understanding of Epic build, workflows, and end-user adoption strategies

- Support enterprise TDR (Training, Design, Development, Requirements) activities
- Participate in Activation planning, go-live execution, and at-the-elbow support
- Develop role-based training materials including job aids, simulations, eLearning, and documentation
- Deliver training to clinical, ancillary, and operational end users across multiple departments
- Partner with analysts and operational leaders to translate workflows into effective training content
