ACT contributes to preserving the peace, security and territorial integrity of Alliance member states by leading, at Strategic Command level, Warfare Development required to enhance NATO’s posture, military structures, forces, capabilities and doctrines.

The Resources and Management (RM) Directorate acts on behalf of SACT on all internal management and resource-related issues. It monitors the coherency of ACT plans to ensure that ACT remains an effective and efficient organization and improves continuously.

The ACT Office of Security has staff responsibility to execute, provide and coordinate security services to the headquarters, its subordinate commands, and to the NATO community at large, operating at all levels of command to ensure the security of its personnel, assets, and resources.

The Staff Officer (Industrial Security) within the ACT Office of Security (AOS) is responsible for the security management of classified contract according to the NATO Security Policies and Directives.

Principal Duties: 

  • Acting as the Primary Industrial Security point of contact for HQ SACT and ACT subordinate commands.
  • Supporting the Section Head in developing ACT Industrial Security directives, Guidelines and Security Procedures to meet requirements of NATO Security Policy within ACT.
  • Developing HQ SACT Industrial Security directives, Guidelines and Security Procedures to meet requirements of ACT Directives and guidelines.
    Overseeing and managing Industrial Security and Classified Project Security related procedure and documentation advice, for HQ SACT stakeholders.
  • Maintaining close liaison with the NCI Agency, NSPA, the Industry and Academia for all matters relating to Industrial and Classified Projects.
  • Attending/conducting any Industrial Security Management, related workshops/meetings and Capability Working Groups, as required, including supporting as necessary any Acquisition led out
