With about 1.200 employees, its success lies in the highly specialized and innovative team and technological know-how.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p>As our new <strong>Senior Application</strong><strong> Software Engineer</strong> you design, implement and test the software according to specifications and architecture.</p><p><strong>Key areas of responsibility are:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, code and unit-test the software to implement part of the software in scope of the activities assigned to or selected by the Software Engineer;</li><li>Document the design;</li><li>Decompose the design into manageable work packages for implementation, provide estimations on work packages</li><li>Analyze (sub)system- requirements and derive into component level (or detailed) requirements for the software to be implemented.</li><li>Document the requirements at component level.</li><li>Plan the order of development for work packages, focusing on achieving continuous integration</li><li>Produce Clean Code;</li><li>Operate according to Agile principles;</li><li>Consult Open Source Software officer in case of usage of OSS;</li><li>Keep abreast of technical developments in own field through study of literature and technical contacts.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li><strong>You have a university education in computer or software science at Bachelor level or higher;</strong></li><li><strong>You have at least 5 years experience in C# (</strong><strong> .NET Framework and /or .Net Core</strong><strong>) and 5 years experience in C++ programming languages;</strong></li><li><strong>You have fluent English language skills (verbal and written);</strong></li><li><strong>You are able to work in Hybrid mode with flexibility;</strong></li><li>You have an understanding of the SOLID-principles and how to apply them in software design.</li><li>You have experience in C programming languages;</li><li>You have experience with embedded DSP, CPU, and GPU architectures;</li><li>You have experience in using Linux and/or FreeRTOS;</li><li>You have experience in firmware, driver development;</li><li>You have experience in OOAD;</li><li>You have experience with wireless and wired communication protocols, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Bluetooth and 802.11;</li><li>You have experience with lab instrumentation like oscilloscope, logic/protocol analyzers for debugging embedded systems at HW level;</li><li>You have specific knowledge of relevant design &amp; modeling methods like e.g. UML</li><li>You have an understanding of core OS concepts like multi-threading, memory management, power management;</li><li>You are proactive, being able to decompose complex task and estimate work</li><li>You can look, realistically, beyond the well-trodden paths</li><li>You are a lateral thinker with helicopter view, capable of finding an appropriate solution to complex problems;</li><li>You have a broad interest in Software Development and are familiar with additional programming languages</li><li>Experience with peripherals such as UART, SPI, CSI-2, i2c, GPIO, USB is a plus;</li><li>Experience with Yocto toolchain is a plus.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>What we offer you: </strong></p><p>Challenges in an international environment | career opportunities in one of the best companies in the world | flexible hours | medical services | discounts for employees | sports and health related activities | canteen | good access to public transports | space for creativity.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Success stories don´t just happen.
