Job Description:
The Associate Director, Business Strategy will play a key role in supporting the VP, Business Strategy in driving strategic change initiatives, optimizing business operations, and fostering the Amplifi brand and culture.
Acting as a catalyst for innovation and efficiency, the Associate Director will assist in the rollout and adoption of new solutions, tools, and processes, working with key stakeholders from Amplifi as well as across dentsu (Partnerships, Investment & Activation, Finance & HR). Partnering closely with the VP, Business Strategy, they will refine internal processes to enhance team productivity and effectiveness, ensuring the Amplifi team has the necessary resources to operate effectively. In addition to spearheading operational efficiencies, this role will ensure consistency in branding, terminology, and collateral across the business.
The Associate Director will assist with the development and maintenance of key materials, ensuring that all team members are aligned in messaging and presentation. Additionally, this role will lead key initiatives that cultivate a supportive, growth-driven workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of media agency operations, experience in organizational transformation, and the ability to challenge conventional thinking by proposing innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Change Initiatives: Support high-impact change initiatives designed to improve efficiency, collaboration, and business outcomes. Work closely with leadership to assess current processes, identify areas for innovation, and drive transformation efforts that align with Amplifi’s long-term strategic goals. Assist with the rollout and adoption of new solutions by creating comprehensive strategies that ensure seamless integration within the business. Actively engage in dialogues to drive consensus, address challenges, and maximize the impact of strategic initiatives. Provide training, communication plans, and ongoing support to stakeholders across Amplifi and dentsu, fostering engagement and enthusiasm for new initiatives.
Workflow Optimization: Evaluate existing business practices and recommend structural improvements to optimize operations. Introduce and implement new tools, technologies, and methodologies that simplify workflows, enhance productivity, and elevate the team’s ability to deliver results.
Marketing & Enablement Materials Coordination: Serve as a bridge between Partnerships, Client Success, Solutions, and in-house marketing teams to ensure Amplifi has comprehensive marketing, sales enablement, and training materials related to solutions, partnerships, and initiatives.
Training and Development: Manage an Onboarding Program for new hires within the team, collaborate with the VP, Business Strategy & HR to bring learning and development opportunities to employees. Ensure that onboarding programs go beyond the immediate Amplifi team, identifying ways that marketing and training materials for Amplifi solutions are included in the wider dentsu onboarding programs
Experience/Skills:
5+ years of consulting and project work experience, ideally in media and/or tech sectors.
Strong track record of delivering projects successfully in challenging circumstances.
Ability to translate complex ideas into actionable solutions.
Experience in identifying efficiency opportunities and supporting large-scale change management programs
Comfortable working in an agile environment and collaboration with diverse, cross functional teams
The annual salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
