Home Health Aide (HHA) – Private Duty

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Home Health Aide (HHA) to join our Private Duty Home Care team at Freedom Village Bradenton.  This opportunity is for an exceptional HHA who is looking for a relaxed working environment with a flexible schedule.  

Join our warm and welcoming Private Duty team at Freedom Village Bradenton -- a senior living community where your compassion and care truly make a difference. We’re seeking Home Health Aides who value flexibility, connection, and the ease of working in one beautiful location.

Here are some of the duties you will perform… 

• Assist clients with high quality of personal care with tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist residents with mealtime. Cut food. Encourage to eat. 
• Complete and document shift assignments as assigned, if unable to complete, report to nursing supervisor. 
• Communicate to residents, families, Department Heads and the Director of Resident Services when needed. 
• Provide activities as planned and/or directed.

What We’re Looking For:

• A current Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate, or the ability to pass a Home Health Aide competency test.
• A valid CPR certification or willingness to get CPR certified upon hire.
• Previous HHA experience is a bonus—but not a requirement.
• The ability to read, follow care plans, and document services accurately.
• A self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision.
• Most importantly, someone who is kind, dependable, and compassionate.
