Job Description
Visa is seeking a highly motivated, energetic and passionate Strategy & Operations Manager to help manage operations and drive strategic initiatives by coordinating across functions and business units, reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy & Operations North America for Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) and Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS).
The NA Strategy & Operations team leads business operations, business planning, sales enablement and strategy for Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) and Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS). The function solves business problems, identifies opportunities and solutions for internal and external partners that will result in efficiencies, payment volume and revenue growth.
A highly matrixed position, the chosen candidate will closely collaborate with Sales, Product, Sales Excellence, Finance, Marketing, NA Operations, Corporate Events and CMS Strategy & Operations, to execute on the operational and strategic priorities of the business.
The role requires considerable cross-functional collaboration within a matrixed team, project management skills and agility to manage a variety of projects.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with the Senior Director of Strategy & Operations North America to lead operational activities of VCS and CMS.
Develop and enhance processes and tools to optimize business operations.
Manage projects, routines and tasks across functions (VCS, CMS, Sales teams, Strategy & Operations, NA Ops, NA Conferences & Events, etc.) and stakeholders.
Manage key initiatives, including business updates, employee engagement activities and event / meeting content.
Lead organizational administration, including organizational charts, digital resources and event calendarization.
Assist in internal / external conference deployment, including coordination of showcases and NA VCS / CMS presence. Partner with NA Corporate Events, NA Ops and Marketing on planning of external engagements.
Support content development of presentations for internal business reviews, management events and external conferences targeted for internal and external engagements.
Manage communications to executives and investor relations. Support tracking and reporting of activities and updates.
Coordinate internal audit, regulatory and risk processes.
Assist in budget management, to optimize resource allocation across VCS.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
Exceptional relationship and partnership builder among teams in a matrixed organization
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and active listening skills
Excellent judgment, ability to act with discretion and handle sensitive information
Proven track record of consistently delivering meticulous work within tight deadlines
