SAP BTP Solution area, the part of the SAP Adoption Services Centers is the, is the trusted advisor for our customers to leverage SAP BTP in their transformation to become an Intelligent Enterprise. Jointly with our partner ecosystem, using the power of SAP Business AI we drive expansion through accelerated adoption and consumption of the BTP.

The BTP Services Portfolio is one of the largest and most strategic and important portfolios within SAP CSS. In this role you will deal with one of the most important pillars in the BTP service portfolio, integration services. These services are helping our customers to deal with their integration and automation requirements, plan, implement, maintain and enhance all types of integrations using the power of SAP BTP services and solutions.

 

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Deliver SAP BTP integration services and projects to the customers around the globe.
• Drive the SAP Business AI topics, especially in the integration area.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, provide product expertise, guidance, and instruction on SAP products.
• Aid team members in the development and implementation of technical solutions.
• Be able to multitasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to project and customer needs.
• Build credible relationships with peers and clients, and continuous professional learning of SAP products.
• Learn quickly and apply knowledge effectively.

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Understanding of the SAP BTP platform business values, architecture and catalogue of services.
• Detailed knowledge and hands on experience with at least some of BTP Integration Suite components (Cloud Integration, API Management, Integration Advisor, Open Connectors), Event Mesh, API Business Hub capabilities and standards like One Domain Model.
• Clear understanding of the value of SAP Business AI, hands on experience of usage of the AI tools in a day-by-day activity.
• Experience with at least some of the following specific technologies: OData, REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, FTP/SFTP, JDBC, JMS, Kafka, AMQP, MQTT; CSV, XML, JSON, YAML; Java, XSL, Groovy/JS. The more you have the better you are.
• Familiarity with platform services generally used for technical tasks, like Audit Log, HANA Cloud, Notifications, Cloud Foundry, CI/CD, SAP Business Application Studio, Transport Management, Connectivity.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. SAP Activate for BTP and SAP ISA-M knowledge will be a plus.
• Preferred certificate: C_CPI_15 or similar. Any AI relevant certification will be a plus.
• Analytical, results-driven and a solution-oriented way of work.
• Open to travel.
• Perfect interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written, presentation and listening.

 

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

• University Degree in: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar.
• AI domain knowledge.
• Fluent English, other languages is a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Prefer prior experience involving client/customer interaction or custom development.
