CSU-SPA Research Intern

The CSU-SPA program invites students to apply for the Research Intern position to conduct independent
research under mentorship.

Job Description: This position will perform duties to include, but not limited to:

* Conduct independent scholarly research under the mentorship of a faculty member.
* Report on progress of research as requested.
* Complete a written report of progress at the end of each semester.
* Complete all required paperwork.
* Perform other duties or projects as assigned.

Wage/Salary: $18.06/hr

Hours per Week:5-20

Location: N 375

# of Openings: 10

Expected Start Date: 03.02.2026

Expected End Date: 05.29.2026

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must be currently accepted as an CSU-SPA participant.
* Must submit a research proposal, with a faculty member, before hiring.
* Must submit a current CITI Certificate before hiring (see https://www.citi program.org)
