Description
The Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) Program at Flagler College is seeking a dynamic and engaged candidate for a faculty position (rank negotiable, based on candidate qualifications) in Hospitality and Tourism Management to begin in August 2025. The undergraduate program in HTM program includes concentrations in Events & Tourism, Lodging, and Food & Beverage. Candidates can be from any HTM discipline and should have at least some experience in event management. We seek faculty candidates who have strong record of excellence in teaching as well as professional and scholarly development. In addition, the position will be charged with helping the department expand industry partnerships, offer dynamic and experiential courses, grow enrollment and funding, and seek accreditation. The Hospitality and Tourism Management Program is part of the recently-founded School of Business and this position will have an opportunity to help build an exciting foundation for the program, the School of Business, and Flagler College.
Qualifications
Education - Master’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management, Event Management, or a closely related field for Instructor rank; Ph.D. or ABD in in a related field for professor ranks.
Teaching experience – Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate level in hospitality and tourism, especially in the event management area.
