What We Are Looking For
Baylor University George W. Truett Theological Seminary is seeking a part-time Program Manager for the Theology, Ecology, and Food Justice Program. This individual will assist in the planning, development and implementation of departmental programs and services. Develop strategic actions and plans, that comply with University policies, to meet and support program goals. Maintain regular punctual attendance and perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
A Bachelor’s Degree, three years of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith is required. A Master’s Degree and five years of relevant experience is preferred. Education and experience may be considered in lieu of one another.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
- Program Management & Administrative Oversight
- Serve as the primary point of contact on the day-to-day management of the TEFJ Program and provide support for all employees involved with University programs
- Manage all records and prepare reports; develop and maintain all program databases.
- Strategic Program Partner
- Contribute information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews of the Program.
- Collaborate and present those plans and ideas with and to upper-level management to develop opportunities that will improve the programs success.
- In collaboration with the recruitment office, develop innovative strategies for the recruitment of outstanding students to join the TEFJ program.
- Campus Collaborator & External Networks
- Manage inter-institutional collaborations with the Office of Sustainability, the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty, the Honors College, the World Hunger Relief Institute and the Environmental Humanities Program along with other campus partners.
- Assist with the TEFJ budget process and review, create, & maintain relevant policies and procedures.
- Establish & maintain external relationships to support the TEFJ Program.
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
