Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager – Crush Lounge
Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled and energetic Food & Beverage Manager with a strong background in bar and beverage operations to lead Crush Lounge, the signature lounge experience at our hotel. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about bar culture and creating unforgettable guest experiences. You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving beverage innovation, and leading a high-performing team in a dynamic lounge environment.
Salary Rate - $75,000 - $85,000
Key Responsibilities:
Bar & Beverage Leadership
• Lead all aspects of bar operations, including inventory control, mixology standards, and staff training.
• Innovate and refresh beverage menus seasonally, with a focus on craft cocktails, spirits, and local trends.
• Maintain exceptional product quality and ensure consistent, high-level drink presentation.
Daily Operations
• Manage the daily functioning of Crush Lounge, including guest service, ambiance, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee service in additional hotel outlets as needed (room service, pool bar, etc.), ensuring consistency in brand and service standards.
Team Development
• Hire, train, and mentor bartenders and service staff with a focus on product knowledge, service etiquette, and upselling techniques.
• Foster a team-oriented, high-energy environment that encourages creativity and professionalism.
Guest Experience
• Deliver a seamless and engaging guest experience with a strong floor presence during peak hours.
• Actively respond to feedback and continuously work to enhance satisfaction and repeat business.
Financial Performance
• Manage bar and beverage budgets, monitor beverage cost percentages, and implement cost control strategies.
• Develop promotions, events, and partnerships that drive traffic and revenue.
Vendor & Product Management
• Build strong relationships with distributors and suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and source unique or local beverage products.
• Stay current with trends in spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to keep offerings fresh and competitive.
Event & Lounge Activation
• Collaborate with Sales and Events teams to create and execute beverage-driven experiences and private events.
• Support branding and marketing efforts for Crush Lounge through strategic promotions and guest engagement.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in bar management or beverage-focused F&B leadership, ideally in a lounge, upscale bar, or hotel environment.
• Deep knowledge of spirits, mixology, wine, and beverage trends.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a hands-on leadership style.
• Experience with inventory management, beverage costing, and budget oversight.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
