About the Job:

The Associate Production Manager, FOG under the direction of the Production Manager, FOG is responsible for managing the pre-production and production process post Brand Launch with the goal to deliver garments on time and meeting Fear of God’s high level of quality standards. The incumbent owns auditing and releasing final tech packs to vendors directly and ensure all details and components are clear. This role will lead the cross functional team through pre-production approvals by managing a detailed WIP and working cross-functionally to keep all approvals on track to start bulk production on time. The Associate Production manager will be a key liaison between material suppliers, garment factories, FOG QC team, and logistics.

A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:

  • Support production manager in day to day operations
  • Partner with merch team on flows entered in BBR
  • Trouble shoot and BBR related issues after Netsuite upload is complete
  • Create and maintain PO worksheets
  • Audit PO’s in IP and D365
  • Communicate with vendors and maintain production WIP info (dates, approval status, notes as needed)
  • Communicate effectively with cross functional teams
  • Order Pantone standards as needed
  • Create and maintain color library in partnership with PD team 
  • Support special projects as needed

 

What it takes to Join:

  • 4-year degree in fashion design, business or another related field.
  • Generally, 4+ years of experience in retail with focused experience in product development, sourcing or production related positions.
  • Excellent understanding of product development, product costs, production lead times.
  • Strong MS Office, especially Excel. Excellent math skills
  • Flex PLM experience preferred.
  • Blue Cherry experience preferred.
  • Production planning, forecasting, knowledge of the production process, lead-times, garment construction
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence decisions with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and problem solve.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good judgement and decision-making ability.
  • Strong product knowledge in apparel/retail industry.
  • Ability to multitask and work in high pace environment.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail

 

Salary Range: $72,817 - $80, 179
