We are seeking a professional like you to join our team and be responsible for the day-to-day product regulations support for BASF Care Chemicals – Home Care, I&I and Industrial Formulators by assuring product compliance to International, Federal, State, and local regulations. In this role you will support sales and marketing initiatives and day-to-day business operations. Your communication and close working relationships with BASF Groups will be a vital part of this function.
This position is a dynamic job that provides a core set of knowledge in the SAP systems and the interactions between modules; operates in a cross-functional environment with significant involvement with Business Marketing & Supply Chain, operating/ Manufacturing plants, Sampling, Customer Service teams both in the North American region as well as with global contacts in Europe, Asia Pacific and Central & South America. This position also requires involvement with the UN Global Harmonization System (GHS) to support exports for Europe and Asia Pacific regions.

Providing your successful management of:
- Data Sheet and Global Label Management Support for North America and Canada - Proactively manage accurate, current and complete masterdata using the EHS SAP module to assure compliance with NA HAZCOM, TSCA, CEPA and other chemical and product regulations; provide GHS classifications; author Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and label raw reports for BASF products in the incumbent’s product portfolio; proactively review & update SDSs for consistency within the document as well as across similar product lines.
- Blocked Order Management/Trade Controls - Monitoring and manage all data requirements and compliance documents in support of the Global Trade System and control activities in SAP for local, regional and global regulations, including GTS classifications.
- Workplans & Demand Planning – Core management and upkeep weekly updates for REACToR and MoC processes and provide support KPI/metrics for these processes.
- Customer Support – Engage and assist customers via participation in scheduled business meetings; troubleshoot regulatory issues for the business; provide support for customer requests in the Customer user Relationship Tool (CuRT) SalesForce database; provide regulatory expertise to mitigate/ensure no non-compliance issues occur.
- CleanGredients Submissions – Support new and existing CleanGredients registrations in support of EPA’s Safer Choice program.
- Cross functional Engagement & Support: Engage with global and regional business contacts, working in a cross-functional, multi-BU, virtual and matrixed business environment.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Toxicology, Sciences or other technical discipline.
• 2 + years’ experience in product regulations/regulatory affairs/product stewardship or related fields in EHS with knowledge of TSCA, DSL, and FIFRA (biocides), hazard communications st
