Languages are key to our mission of bringing the world closer together. The Meta family of products is currently available in 100+ languages and we are adding many more. Over 70% of people use our products in a language other than English, and ~90% are outside of North America. As a Localization Program Manager, you will partner with various stakeholders and the rest of internationalization teams to empower Meta products to feel local at a global scale.Localization Program Manager Responsibilities

- Engage and build relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Legal, Product, Engineering, etc.) to launch successful localized products and contents
- Design and implement efficient and scalable end-to-end localization frameworks tailored to various products and diverse content types across Meta
- Guide stakeholders across Meta to ensure localization best practices are followed and drive efficient execution
- Proactively identify and streamline technical and process issues that affect localized product relevancy, quality, and functionality
- Actively seek out opportunities to optimize the global user experience and influence adoptions of optimal solutions
- Partner across internationalization to ensure the right resources are in place and all deliveries are completed at the expected standards
- 5+ years of experience in localization, or equivalent project management or program management experience
- Experience communicating and driving results with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, working across time zones and international offices
- Experience analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions
- Skilled in building and optimizing complex workflows
- Track record of staying focused, prioritizing and creating structure across large, ambiguous programs and setting goals for long-term initiatives
- Knowledge of additional languages other than English
- Experience managing various content types, including Legal content
- Experience working with localization vendors and law firms offering outside counsel
- Exposure to SQL, analytics tools, or a coding language
- Thorough understanding of translation technologies like translation memories, machine translation, and CAT tools
- Familiarity with internationalization standards such as Unicode and CLDR
- Knowledge of AI technologies and potential application in localization workflows
