$60,000 – 74,000

The Job You Will Perform:
- Conduct monthly physical inventories using SAP, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and generating key reports.
- Take ownership of balance sheet accounts, conducting thorough analysis to identify and promptly resolve any issues.
- Leverage Excel, AO, Power BI, and RPA within IP’s technology toolkit to drive value and efficiency.
- Validate processes using ME tools to ensure alignment with established standards and goals.
- Uphold internal controls to guarantee financial accuracy in accordance with established Policies and Controls.
- Assume responsibility for validating and maintaining process documents related to outsourced work.
- Fulfill diverse reporting requirements for governmental entities, trade associations, and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of the location’s annual operating plan by providing comprehensive financial analysis support.
- Offer routine and ad hoc analytical support to the financial staff of various locations as required.
- Act as a backup resource for other Financial Global Operations (FGO) processes such as Fixed Assets, Payroll, and Inventory Accounting.
The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 1- 3 years of combined work experience across various disciplines including finance, accounting, business analysis, internal and/or external audit

Strong understanding of Financial Accounting and GAAP

Strong Excel skills

Experience in SAP is strongly preferred
- Willing to learn AO, Power BI, and other data analytical tools a plus
- Mill or manufacturing-related experience or desire to work at a mill a plus
- Proven experience in researching and defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
- Good oral and written communication skills
- PL varies by experience
- Excel in a team environment
- Travel up to 20%
