Job Description

What You Will Be Doing? 

The team of Application Engineer is established in the Product Line ESLs. While our Customer Project Managers are responsible to drive the integration of our solutions at our key customers, Field Application Experts are part of the project team when it comes to customized solutions and/or new product introductions and contribute with their end to end technical expertise from ESL to the cloud.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• To assess products’ readiness, through alpha and beta tests
• To ensure the perfect conditions to test & finalize products
• Support installation of alpha and beta tests with Customer Project Managers, ensure regular monitoring and troubleshooting of the installation to provide the feedback for R&D
• Coordinate the technical installation by acting in-between customers, partners, Ops and R&D
• To ensure documentation and training is delivered and suggest improvements
• To ensure that products can scale and be supported
• Track and manage all actions and actors contributing to product readiness
• On-site visits to troubleshoot problems on beta tests
• Inform various stakeholders about the status of the project
• Identify risks and initiate corresponding countermeasures
• Help support teams with new products
• Escalate according to internal guidelines

Qualifications

What's Required? 

• University of Applied Sciences or Higher Technical College (with experience) for software engineering or equivalent experience
• At least 2-3  years of experience as a Field Service engineer, application engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer or Product Manager in the field of IoT devices, electronic consumer products or SaaS products
• You have experience with Embedded/IoT devices : radio protocols like WiFi/BLE/Zigbee/LoRa
• Software: basic coding skills, scripting, Log analysis (like Azure Kusto Query, Sumologic, Splunk)
