Program Manager, Market Transformation

Resource Innovations is seeking a Program Manager, Market Transformation to join our growing market transformation team. As a Program Manager, Market Transformation with Resource Innovations, you will work in a dynamic environment managing within a cross-functional team focused on market transformation initiatives that supports accelerating adoption of emerging and underutilized products. The Program Manager will play a role both internally and with subcontractors and will be responsible for developing short and long-term project plans, tracking and forecasting budgets, managing staff hours to the project and activities, and is responsible for tracking and communicating program success and progress metrics.    

This position requires excellent planning, budgeting, research and communication skills, and a problem-solving mentality. Additionally, experience in market transformation, energy efficiency and knowledge of utility programs, trade ally networks, and emerging technologies is important, but not required.  This is a California-based position.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports the development of work plans, budgets, and staffing requirements and providing accurate forecasts. 

• Proactively identify, define, quantify, and track program risk(s). 
• Track high-level program deliverables, schedules, metrics, and milestones. 
• Continuously assesses project progress to goal and develops innovative and creative solutions to new issues and/or market dynamics. 
• Support partnerships with subcontractors, community groups, and other industry affiliates/stakeholders. 
• Manage client expectations, satisfaction, communications for assigned projects, and resolves and/or escalates client issues. 
• Participate in a collaborative work environment, co-creating work products and program strategy. 

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, energy, engineering or related field of study is required, a master’s degree in a related field preferred. 
• A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in energy-efficiency or a related field. 
• Proven success in developing and implementing project scopes, budgets and workplans. 
• Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools 
• Excellent project and program management skills 
• Ability and experience in short and long-range planning and strategy 
• Proficient in establishing job and work process flows.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task while consistently meeting deadlines with accuracy and within budget.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills 
• Positive, action-oriented attitude showing initiative and creativity.
• Customer service focus 
• Ability to collaborate well at all levels within an organization, and a team-player.
