As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>Define the future of user interaction for Carbon, Google's design system management platform.</li> <li>Optimize existing web front end while developing the technical strategy to meet our users, designers, and engineers in-context within their existing tools (e.g., Figma and Cider).</li> <li>Contribute to the implementation, guide technical strategy and directly build the future of our front-end landscape, including our move toward AI-driven capabilities.</li> <li>Reduce complexity, accelerate user flow, and lead a technical environment through effective collaboration.</li> </ul>
