About the role: 

The Nuclear Company is seeking a Project Manager who is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the successful completion of nuclear projects related to The Nuclear Company. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. 

Responsibilities:

• Safety: Responsible for ensuring all work is conducted safely, protecting both personnel and the environment, and promoting a strong nuclear safety culture. 

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. 

• Project Execution: Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and identify and address potential risks. Lead cross-functional teams in resolving issues and meeting overall project objectives. 

• Permitting and Approvals: Support and direct the permitting process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. 

• Subcontractor Oversight: Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and take corrective action as needed. 

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet high standards of quality and adhere to best practices. 

• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project status, financial performance, and key metrics. 

Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field 

• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in energy infrastructure 

• Proven track record of successful project development on a multi-million-dollar construction site 

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills 

• Proficiency in project management tools and software 

• Knowledge of regulatory, permitting processes and industry standards in energy 

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. 

• PMP certification or equivalent preferred. 

• Prior experience with government funded projects 

• Nuclear projects background (Operational, Refurbishment, and/or technology development) 

• Execution experience on brown field projects 
  
  
• Familiarity with Construction Industry Institute best practices

Estimated Starting Salary Range: 

The estimated starting salary range for this role is $150,000 - $173,000 annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis.  The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure, skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.
