Accountant

We are seeking a professional, creative,multi tasking individual with an accounting background as well as Analyze data using excel and other Microsoft Office programs.

Must Have Organizational Skills and Management functions. AccountantMUST BE ABOVE AVERAGE in Microsoft EXCEL

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Timely management of accounts payable cycle on a daily basis
• Review, analyze and research all incoming invoices
• Receives, researches, and resolves a variety of internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate person(s)
• Lends support to operational employees in the timely and effective manner
• Timely management of accounts receivable and revenue collections functions, including preparing and posting deposits

Accounting

• Assists in month-end close process by entering, reviewing and posting journal entries
• Assists in creation of monthly financials
• Analyze and report financial results to VP of Operations, Regional Directors, and Owners

Team Support

• Periodic support of payroll department and miscellaneous office tasks

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in Excel spreadsheets
• General journal experience
• Intermediate or advanced expertise with Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to learn new systems and train others
• Has good understanding of accounting principles GAAP
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports
• Assisting VP of Operations
• Research variances in various GL accounts
• Assist with year-end audits
• Provide support for other accounting staff
• Assist with special projects

Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationship

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Required bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent

Full Time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Salary: $32,000.00 to $40,000.00 /year
