Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement DSP/SIGINT software modules in C/C++ on Linux.
- Enhance and maintain existing code bases, improving performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Develop and optimize algorithms for:
- FIR and IIR filters
- Multi‑rate filtering and decimation/interpolation
- FFT, correlation, and spectral analysis
- Modulation/demodulation (analog & digital) and bit‑level processing
- Digital Beam Forming (DBF) and general I/Q processing
- Conduct thorough unit, integration, and system testing of communications and SIGINT applications.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, system engineers, and program managers to translate system requirements into robust software solutions.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers and cross‑functional teams.
- Produce clear documentation, design reviews, and technical reports.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 20 years of hands‑on experience designing and implementing software for DSP and/or SIGINT systems.
- Current Top Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application
- Technical Skills:
- Expert knowledge of Digital Signal Processing and communications theory.
- Proficiency in Linux development environment and C/C++.
- Strong background in analog/digital modulation and demodulation techniques.
- In‑depth understanding of signal‑processing algorithms, including FIR/IIR filtering, multi‑rate processing, FFT, correlation, and I/Q data handling.
- Experience developing software for modulation recognition, demodulation, and bit‑level processing.
- Domain Experience: Demonstrated work in communications or SIGINT system development and testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science (MSEE) or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience with digital beamforming, advanced radar, or electronic warfare applications.
- Knowledge of real‑time operating systems and high‑performance computing techniques.
- Publications or patents in DSP, communications, or SIGINT fields.
