The TODOS program coordinator is a part-time hourly position of 4 to 6 hours per week. The program coordinator will help organize, coordinate, document, and report the fiscal, administrative, and operational activities of the Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Track 3 Program at the University of New Mexico, Teachers Organizing Diverse Opportunities Across a STEM Ecosystem (TODOS) program. TODOS is a program funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). The goals of the TODOS program are to develop K-12 science teachers as teacher leaders who engage in networking with the STEM ecosystem while advancing place-based and student-centered science teaching and learning in New Mexico. The program coordinator will assist with specialized NSF grant coordination, purchasing and budget recording, collecting and organizing NSF records in alignment with current Noyce and NSF requirements and federal priorities. The program coordinator will also assist with program, project implementation, and liaising with internal and external partners of the TODOS program for science teachers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform efficient, accurate, well-documented, and well-organized administrative support tasks including purchasing, reimbursements, travel arrangements, and budget accounting.
  • Coordinate, organize, schedule, and document TODOS program, participants, meetings, and events.
  • Serve as a point of contact among TODOS faculty, staff, K-12 teachers, other departments, and external constituencies on programmatic, operational, and administrative matters.
  • Coordinate and document activities of K-12 teacher consultants, faculty, scientists, students, researchers, collaborators, potential collaborators, and/or volunteers engaged in implementation and administration of the NSF TODOS grant program goals and objectives including the organization of large meetings, special projects, and general problem resolution.
  • Collect, organize, and reports TODOS program and project data based on most updated Noyce program and project requirements and federal priorities.

  • All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree, or higher
· At least one-year experience as program coordinator of a grant-funded science teacher education program
· At least one-year experience as program coordinator of an NSF federally-funded grant program
