Position Summary: As an Instructional Designer at Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill, you will play a critical role on the training team by taking ownership and initiative on assigned projects, offering creative solutions to a variety of learning problems, and providing clarity and consistency through learning solutions, and by being accountable to standard processes and guidelines.

Results to Be Generated:

1. Design and assemble content in the ideal medium for the end user (including e-learning, instructor-led, just-in-time, and quick reference resources, and infographics)
2. Edit, revise, and reorganize current content as necessary to meet shifting training needs
3. Partner with internal team members to validate training efficacy and accuracy
4. Produce low-fidelity models to move quickly in a fast-paced environment, when needed.

Skills and Attributes:

Required:

• 3+ years of experience in a learning and development-related role designing and developing learning solutions or a bachelor's degree in Instructional Design with one year of experience
• Operate under a working knowledge of learning design principles and frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, etc,)
• Experience with rapid development tools such as Articulate 360
• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe programs, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat

Desired:

• Use of Project Management and collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Asana, or similar)
• Familiarity with LMS administration
• Experience scoping learning design projects
• Experience in a variety of learning solutions, including e-learning, instructor-led, storyboards, infographics, and gamification
• Experience in the food service industry
• Strong digital learning sense including familiarity with effective UX/UI and accessibility practices
• Awareness of adult motivation strategies (ARCS, etc.)
• Ability to provide a portfolio or work samples
