Job Description
Merkle is seeking a talented Sitecore Technical Lead to contribute to a dynamic team building Sitecore-based web and native app solutions within our Experience Platforms group. This is a great opportunity to be part of an award-winning Sitecore practice, work with cutting edge technologies, and collaborate with a top-notch team working on custom applications and tools within Sitecore. The successful candidate will be a Sitecore subject matter expert and experienced technical leader who can both lead and develop innovative solutions on time and on budget with maintainable code, low technical debt, and good system design. As a Sitecore Technical Lead, you will have exceptional development and leadership skills, a high level of accountability, and a desire to implement best-in-class solutions for clients.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to Sitecore team and contribute to internal tools and team processes through independent research and hands-on development
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Collaborate with Sitecore Architects to understand overall technical vision of projects and
- communicate to greater Sitecore development team
- Review code through pull requests and enforce Sitecore best practices and adherence to technical vision
- Develop high-quality Sitecore solutions that follow modern platform and industry best practices
- Review project requirements for technical feasibility
- Collaborate with business analysts to break down large features for consumption by development team, as needed
- Work collaboratively with architects, business analysts, designers, engineers, and other project team members to help deliver high quality design, business, technical, and strategic outcomes
- Build professional relationships with managers, peers, and stakeholders
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and commitments
Qualifications
We expect you to confidently tick the following:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with development on Sitecore, ideally on version 9 or newer
- A willing and capable technical leader and mentor
- Experience mentoring junior technical talent
- Experience with both headless and traditional Sitecore architectures
- Demonstrated ability to develop and debug both headless and MVC solutions using Visual Studio and C#
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Helix
- Expert in Sitecore Platform
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with Sitecore Headless Services (JSS)
- Experience with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA)
- Experience with TDS, Sitecore Content Serialization (SCS), or Unicorn
- Experience with Solr or Coveo
- Experience with Postman
- Aware of Sitecore roadmap
- Knowledge of and experience working within agile teams
- In-depth understanding of Git
- Understanding of CI/CD
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability
- Ability to estimate and complete work in a deadline driven environment
- Desire to continually improve, learn, and work with new technologies, techniques, and tools
