Subcontract Closeout and Compliance Support Specialist

Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) is seeking a Subcontract Closeout and Compliance Support Specialist to support our DOE team for a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. This position is 100% remote and will support a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 – 5:00 PM MST.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Closeout the backlog of subcontracts for the acquisition services group. 
• Track and report out the number of subcontracts completed weekly. 
• Document the closeout files as needed for the closeout to be completed. 
• Help answer internal questions on policy/procedures.
• Help preparation for PERT. 
• Help with the PPC mailbox and customer help desk. 
• Help gather information for new compliance requirements and documents. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 1-5 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 
• Ability to work with high volume workload and quick turnarounds.
• Ability to work down a list of tasks.
• Customer service skills.
• Project solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Government policy / process knowledge.
• M&O knowledge.
• DEAR / FAR experience.
• Prior closeout or Compliance experience.

Other Qualifications:

• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to successfully pass a mandatory drug screen and background check. 
• Execute Exclusive Representation Agreement with AST. 

Multiple factors contribute to determining the final pay for a position. These include, but are not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and competencies that align with the specific role, geographic location, educational background, and contract provisions related to labor categories specific to the position. We are committed to offering a competitive compensation package that reflects the value and expertise that each candidate brings to our team. 

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is $70,000 - $75,000.
