In Global Service, Parts, Central Ops, the Aftermarket Parts Engineering team plays an important role in supporting technical parts identification, serviceability, and the continued success of our industrial refrigeration aftermarket business.</p><p>The Aftermarket Parts Engineer I supports escalated Parts ID cases from the Parts ID CSR Team and acts as a technical liaison when advanced research or product support is needed. This role combines parts identification, engineering judgment, and strong cross-functional communication to help deliver accurate part-number responses, support quoting and ordering, and maintain the technical knowledge base behind the Parts ID process.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Manage escalated Parts ID case volume and provide accurate part-number responses to support customer requests.</li><li>Support technical and advanced parts identification inquiries for Industrial Refrigeration equipment, compressors, and related service parts.</li><li>Partner with Product Technical Support, parts engineers, product managers, and sales managers to resolve complex requests.</li><li>Support quoting and ordering activities by supplying technical details needed to move requests forward.</li><li>Conduct Parts ID training and share documentation for escalated cases, new products, and new options.</li><li>Help maintain the product reference training library and technical documents used to strengthen parts and product knowledge.</li><li>Support sustaining activities by ensuring engineering changes are correctly implemented in parts identification workflows and the Parts ID application.</li><li>Represent global Aftermarket Parts business interests during the continued development of EasyParts.</li><li>Support growth initiatives by helping define and create kits that support the Aftermarket Parts business.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>How You Will Do It</b></p><ul><li>Own escalated cases with urgency and accountability, keeping customer responses on track to meet the expected 24-hour and 48-hour targets.</li><li>Work independently while staying aligned with internal partners, using sound engineering judgment and the facts available to deliver accurate results.</li><li>Translate technical findings into clear, professional guidance that helps customers, CSR teams, and internal stakeholders move quickly.</li><li>Build trusted working relationships across Parts Engineering, Product Technical Support, Product Management, and Sales by communicating clearly and consistently.</li><li>Use available parts systems, ERP data, engineering drawings, and bill of materials information to validate part numbers and support decisions.</li><li>Share knowledge openly, document learning from escalated cases, and contribute to continuous improvement of the Parts ID process and reference library.</li><li>Stay close to the work by spotting issues early, removing obstacles for customers and internal teams, and helping sustain accurate parts support over time.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.</li><li>At least 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in the HVAC industry with Industrial Refrigeration equipment.</li><li>Extensive experience using Parts Information Management Systems and working with manufacturing ERPs.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Industrial Refrigeration equipment, Manufacturing and Service Bill of Materials information, and technical parts identification.</li><li>Ability to understand complex engineering drawings and bills of materials.</li><li>Experience supporting escalated technical requests and delivering accurate customer responses within deadlines.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work flexibly across multiple projects and assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail.</li><li>Confidence working independently and managing priorities in a fast-pa
