PC Shipping Clerk - West - 2nd shift

Truck billing, scanning loads, preparing loads for shipments, cycle counts.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

• Responsible for 5S
• Complete BOL’s either by using an RF scanner or filling out a Manual BOL
• Greet drivers at the drivers gate and check paperwork to verify delivery location
• Communicate to dock drivers of trailers that need a dock door to be off-loaded
• Communicate to dock drivers if they are reloading
• Mark product if there are any discrepancies or quality issues
• Get counts on empty returnable totes that are shipped out LTL
• Update board with truck/trailer/dock info

• Any other duties assigned by team leader, supervisor or manager

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:

 

• Excellent verbal & written communications skills
• Self-starter
• Ability to multitask
• Organizational skills
• Previous office experience preferred
• Capable of learning various software
• High School Diploma

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lifting & Carrying: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move materials.
• Standing/Walking: Long periods of standing or walking.
• Manual Dexterity: Using tools like pallet jacks, and handling packages.
• Stamina: Endurance for extended physical activity.
• Vision: Clear vision for reading labels and inspecting items.

MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in shipments and documentation.
• Organization: Managing inventory and shipping schedules.
• Problem-Solving: Addressing shipping or inventory issues.
