Warehouse Lead (Monday-Friday)

The GOVX Warehouse Lead will be responsible for processing, packaging, and shipping orders accurately, maintaining and organizing inventory, and inspecting products for defects and damages. Typical workweek is Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a 1-hour lunch.

Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement processing and procedures.
• Ensure GOVX Principles.
• Fulfill product orders.
• Inspect finished or returned products for defects and damage.
• Pick inventory for package assembly.
• Receive of inbound product and returns.
• Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
• Ensure that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
• Manage all merchandise with appropriate care.
• Create shipping labels.
• Load packages onto delivery trucks for shipping.
• Create tracking reports.
• Ensure that regulatory compliance requirements are met.
• Ensure warehouse is neat and organized.
• Other duties as assigned by warehouse manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent GED.
• Good communication skills for interacting and coordinating with coworkers.
• Willingness to work as a team player.
• Problem-solving skills to effectively handle urgent issues.
• Flexibility to perform varied tasks.
• Physical stamina and strength to tolerate heavy lifting and standing for extended periods of time.
• Organizational skills when assembling packages and shipments.
• Basic math and computer literacy skills for creating invoices and other financial documents.
• Experience in a Warehouse setting is preferred but not required.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional environment subject to state and local health ordinances. This role routinely uses warehouse equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, pallet jacks, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. A hard hat is required when on the warehouse floor.

Warehouse Leads who are certified to operate forklifts may also be responsible for moving shipments throughout the warehouse via a forklift. Others may assist with the heavy lifting of boxes and inventory weighing up to 75 pounds. Routine cleaning duties will also be assigned.

Pay Range
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour, with benefits listed above.
