As a Backend Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, test, and continuously improve business users experiences on the E-Commerce products.
- Deploy, troubleshoot, and operate large distributed systems.
-Optimize reliability, availability, and performance of globally distributed systems.
- Analyze product objectives to deliver results aligned with project goals.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Collaborate with PM and R&D teams globally, in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Who We're Looking For:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related areas
- 5+ years of experience in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, Python etc.
- In depth knowledge of common databases and messaging frame works like MySQL, Redis, Kafka etc.
- Strong software programming capabilities, exhibits good code design and coding style

Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security and highly scalable systems design
- Exhibit good problem-solving skills and team communication / collaboration skills
- Hands-on experience with large-scale system design and E-Commerce products experience

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $137750 - $337250 annually.​

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​
