The Individual Life Actuarial Forecast and Modeling team serves multiple stakeholders across the enterprise by supporting forecast requirements for GAAP, STAT, Tax, and Risk Management, as well as providing valuation non-structural modeling support. This team plays a central role in the execution of the enterprise’s strategic priorities. This role will work closely with our various stakeholders including Finance, Reinsurance, Tax, Treasury, and Modeling.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.
 

What you can expect:

• Assist with modeling and analyzing cashflows and reserve balances for GAAP and STAT forecast of inforce and new business.

• Produce insightful analytics to drive efficient and effective communication of results to management and stakeholders.

• Design analysis tools for explaining financial drivers.

• Assist with GAAP Assumption Unlock implementation, analysis, and testing.

• Support Reinsurance negotiation analysis.
   

What you’ll need:

• Strong organizational and project management skills coupled with a high degree of curiosity on current processes and systems.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to critically review own work and work product of other team members.

• Ability to collaborate to develop creative yet practical solutions to challenging problems to meet the needs of our customers.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• 3+ years of experience, with progress toward ASA designation.
   

It’d be a plus if you had:

• Experience with GGY Axis, PolySystems, PowerBi, SQL, or Python.
