Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiates and settles claims in accordance with business unit best practices

• Handles claims involving sink holes, extra-contractual liability, or claims that include Public Adjuster involvement

• Notifies insured of exposure over the policy limit

• Completes and reviews contents inventory, contents pricing, and mitigation bills

• Acts as a resource to MCO on complex and occasionally highly complex claim/coverage matters

• Investigates, reviews, determines, and verifies complex and occasionally highly complex coverage/policy information

• Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process

• Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes

• Conducts subrogation investigations

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $68,000 - $115,245 and is based on experience and qualifications.
