Aardvark Studios is looking for a Warehouse / Driver Associate to join our production operations team. In this role, you’ll handle inbound and outbound shipments, maintain our warehouse space and inventory, operate a forklift, and support project logistics through deliveries and occasional pickups. You’ll play a critical role in keeping our creative fabrication projects running smoothly.
QUALIFICATIONS
What makes you the ideal candidate:
- Proven experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or related logistics role
- Forklift certification and proficiency required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem solving
Requirements or what else is helpful:
- Basic knowledge of shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, freight forwarding)
- Experience driving box trucks up to 26’, w/ clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- You hold, or can get, a DOT medical card and will pass background check/drug screening
- Ability to operate company box trucks and vans safely
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or spreadsheets
- Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift and pallet jack (Training / Certification can be provided)
- You don't mind getting your hands dirty and work with urgency
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, action-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Key Responsibilities:
- Process inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and labeling
- Receive deliveries of raw materials
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Maintain accurate and complete inventory using software system
- Deliver and pick up materials, parts, and equipment as needed for active projects
- Support project teams with warehouse prep and packing for events or tours
