Role Description
Form Energy is hiring an infrastructure technician to help us effectively test our iron-air battery technology. This role will play an integral role in ensuring rapid development of our core technology by developing, building, and maintaining our test infrastructure. You will use your mechanical and electrical aptitude to make tangible updates to our test channels on a daily basis, and your attention to detail will help ensure the test lab runs efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a game-changing technology!
What You'll Do:
Assemble, install, and troubleshoot test stations and test equipment with high attention to detail
Inspect, organize and prepare device components and hardware for test assemblies
Track build progress using cloud based organizational tools
Work with engineering to validate test equipment build
Maintain laboratory conditions in a fashion that facilitates cleanliness, safety, and productivity for all lab users
What You'll Bring:
Aptitude for hands-on, high-quality, and detail- oriented work
Comfort working with instruments ranging from hand tools to heavy machinery, such as hydraulic presses, wrenches, power washers, and powered hand drills
Familiarity with organizing and maintaining hardware inventory
Written and oral communication skills within a group of peers and broader organization
Comfort using digital tools such as GSuite and Slack
Excellent communication and organizational skills
