Student Worker Eligibility:
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above. If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 
Provide assistance in the Welding Lab.

Maintain the shop lab cleanliness with general clean-up

Cut coupons & keep inventory of supplies

Do light maintenance such as changing light bulbs, check vents, etc.

Qualifications:

• Education
  • Students must be enrolled in one of the following programs: WELD, MANUF, ELMEC, ELECT, AUTO, HORT or HVACR program.
  • THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
  • If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.
  • If a Student qualifies for Federal Work Study, the Student will be hired as a Federal Work Study employee to utilize these funds.
  • WELD 1100 and MANUF 1151 required.

Working Conditions:

Must be able to climb a ladder.

Must be able to lift 60 lbs. with assistance.

This student position requires the following test/tests: Physical.
