Responsibilities
As a Microelectronics, Manufacturing and Process Engineer, the candidate will play a critical role in a facility that manufacturers microelectronics using state of the art electronic assembly practices. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high reliability electronic assemblies to end customers by responding to, and fully supporting, production. Tasks are related to the maintenance of assembly packaging processes. Candidate will work closely with critical suppliers and an internal cross functional team to ensure quality and timely deliveries.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, or technical degree.
- 3 or more years serving in electronic assembly of microelectronics
- Candidate to have experience in the execution of microelectronic assembly processes, such as die attaching, stack die packaging, flip-chip attach processes and fixture design.
- Candidate must have knowledge of mechanical assembly techniques, controls, and automation
- Candidate must be able to work closely Program Managers, Engineers, Quality, external customers and sub-tier suppliers to provide robust and reliable components in a timely manner
- Candidate must have the ability to maintain documentation and operation routers
- Experience in development of advanced packaging and electromechanical fixtures is encouraged
- Experience driving efficiency and yield improvement projects is encouraged
- Candidate must exhibit strong critical thinking skills aimed at process development and improvement
- Have working knowledge of Mil Specs
- Possess excellent written/oral communication skills in English, including the ability to brief both technical and non-technical audiences. Good interpersonal skills required to communicate clearly with internal team and customers
- The individual must be self-motivated, able to adapt to changing priorities and must thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Security Requirement:
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance Required with an ability to obtain a program-specific level clearance
