Job Title: Material Handler                  Reports To: Area Manager

 

Team Member Responsibility

It is the responsibility of every Team Member to observe all Health and Safety rules, to use good housekeeping practices, to use safe work practices, utilizing the BeCare tools, Life Saving Rules, wear personal protective equipment supplied for the type of work being performed.  Team Members are expected to report any unsafe act or working conditions immediately.  Any violation of safety rules or expectations will result in disciplinary action.   

Each Team Member must follow all Environmental guidelines and is responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly manufacturing environment that ensures safe, high quality and efficient productivity.

Scope   

   

Essential Job Functions

• General forklift maintenance and reporting maintenance necessities
• Tracking and monitoring inventory levels
• Additional duties and responsibilities as required or assigned
• Perform tasks according to the skills matrix
• Complete training for tasks identified as relevant for job (internal and/or external)

 

Essential Skills and Competencies

• GED or High School Diploma
• Good Communication Skills
• Good Organizational Skills
