Job Description

• Perform data queries and analysis for senior leaders, product analysts, and product management

• Conduct analysis of product data to solve complex problems and identify value generating trends and insights from multiple data sources (value needles in the data haystacks)

• Create ad-hoc reports and database queries to support customer data analytics objectives, including identifying key insights, trends, and focal points within the data

• Support service delivery teams with customer data requests and engagement opportunities

• Train Product Analysts and others on Xactware data models and analytical tools and methodologies

• Advise Product and BI groups on customer data product needs

• Completes all responsibilities as outlined on Performance Plan.

• Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to perform duties with reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Information Technology or related technical field or equivalent experience preferred
• 4+ years’ experience working as data analyst or data scientist querying, extracting, analyzing, reporting data, as well as identifying key data points of interest.
• Knowledge of data analytic tools, specifically PowerBI and Snowflake
• The ability to discover and define customer data needs and objectives
• The ability to utilize Xactware data to meet customer reporting needs and objectives
• In-depth knowledge of Xactware’s product data models and application data collection processes preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Xactware’s reporting warehouse data structure and ETL process preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Xactware’s products, workflows, and industry preferred
• Proficient with SQL, database administration, and database design principles
• Strong organizational, planning and coordination skills
• Ability to manage priorities and tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently to achieve exceptional results
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in simple language
• Ability to work well with team members as well as personnel from other departments
• History of going the extra mile to serve and support customers
• Exceptional problem solving, analysis and negotiating skills
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Project, Visio, Excel, MS PowerPoint & Internet technologies
