Job Description:

Summary:

The LIGO Research Assistant is a student worker who will assist Professor Gregory Harry in the Gravity and Thermal Noise Lab.

Responsibilities:

• Working on Laser Interferometer Gravitational Observation (LIGO).

• Responsible for various technical tasks.

• Facilitating research goals.

• Collecting data.

• Preparing reports.

• Reporting condition of all equipment to the Principal Investigator (PI).

• Training other student workers.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work:

• Part-Time.

• 27.5 hours per week.

Salary Range:

• $17.95 per hour.
