Job Details:
Location: Siloam Springs Hatchery, Siloam Springs, AR
Schedule: Monday (5AM-1PM) Tuesday (7AM-4PM), Wednesday(8AM-4PM), Thursday(5AM-1PM), and Friday (8AM-4PM)or until complete. Schedule includes holidays & weekends. Work schedule is subject to change based upon production needs.
- Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred. Applicant must have at least six consecutive months of work experience with the same employer and no additional gaps in employment greater than six months with the last 36 months. If applicant was laid-off, providing eldercare or childcare, the six month gap will be increased to 18 months. Previous work history criteria will not apply to applicants who have been full time students consecutively for the last 36 months.

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for coordinating activities of employees engaged in cleaning and sanitizing the hatchery, duties in the egg room and involved in setting and traying up eggs and other related equipment. Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: Demonstrated previous experience in a lead/supervisory role and/or a minimum of 6 months in poultry related field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervising and coordinating employees on the Egg Room crew and Sanitation crew and fulfills team leader responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies. (10%)
- Maintaining an accurate record of documents to include, but is not limited to egg sets, export order forms, egg shipments, NPIP, set destination, egg conditioning and egg transfer paperwork. (25%)
- Maintaining a safe working environment and correcting unsafe conditions and acts. (5%)
- Plan, assign, direct or assist work, and address small issues and concerns that may arise. (25%)
- Making sure each farm, customer or hatchery is getting the correct amount of eggs either by Cobb truck or international egg shipment. (25%)
- Daily computer entry and egg set report. (10%)
- Lead positions must currently have and consistently maintain four attendance points or less.
Biosecurity/Animal Welfare Requirements:
The jobsite is a biosecure environment which requires showering on-site and changing clothing and footwear before entering the facility. The Company provides appropriate clothing and footwear. No external jewelry may be worn on the jobsite except for medical ID jewelry and body piercings covered by appropriate clothing. Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.). Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
