Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone Orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The Global Head of Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) is accountable for the enterprise-wide strategy, governance, and performance of EHS&S across global operations. This role provides executive leadership to ensure the protection of people, stewardship of the environment, effective risk management, and advancement of sustainability priorities across the end-to-end value chain, including R&D, Supply Chain, Facilities, and Commercial activities.

Reporting to the VP Global RE, FM& Corporate Operations, this role establishes direction, sets governance, and ensures consistent execution of EHS&S management systems worldwide. The Global Head of EHS&S leads a diverse global organization comprising functional, regional, and systems leadership and serves as the senior authority for EHS&S risk, compliance, and performance.
 

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• 25% – Defines and leads the global EHS&S strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk management, facilities strategy, and business priorities across R&D, Supply Chain, Facilities, and Commercial functions.

• 20% – Establishes enterprise-level governance, standards, and management systems for environmental protection, occupational health and safety, and sustainability, ensuring consistent implementation and accountability worldwide.

• 15% – Serves as the senior executive owner of EHS&S risk, providing oversight of significant risks, incidents, regulatory mat
