Requirements

Facility Care & Cleanliness

• Ensure cabins, kitchens, retreat centers, nature centers, office spaces, and common areas are clean, stocked, and guest-ready
• Clean and maintain bathrooms, showers, and common areas to YMCA standards
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, brooms, dust mops, and mops
• Monitor and restock supplies in all buildings
• Move efficiently between multiple buildings across camp property

Maintenance & Repairs

• Replace air filters and light bulbs as needed
• Assist with minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
• Help maintain plumbing fixtures, sinks, and basic facility systems
• Identify and report repair needs proactively

Event & Camp Support

• Assist with set-up and tear-down of tables, chairs, and equipment for retreats and camp events
• Support kitchen and program areas with facility needs
• Help ensure all spaces are prepared and welcoming before groups arrive

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair tasks.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal or no supervision and aspart of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service
• Passion for camping, outdoor education and youth development.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 70 pounds, climb, bend, stand for long periods of time, operate mechanical equipment      and work in extreme heat and cold environments
