A member of our Deployment team, a Field Installation Supervisor conducts the implementation of all the hardware components of our system (racking, conveying and electrical systems) on-site with our clients, wherever they are located in Europe. This person also supervises the work of installers, ensuring that Exotec technical standards, safety rules and practices are followed, as well as conducts quality-control checks on any completed work.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the mechanical and electrical component installation of our systems
- Supervise the work of our installers and technical suppliers
- Collaborate with project managers and field engineers on deployment projects
- Act as the on-site, local point of contact for installers and technical suppliers
- Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols by all the persons on-site, ensuring that technical partners, installers and suppliers respect Exotec quality standards
- Conduct quality control and inspection
- Support the engineering team in installation commissioning
Requirements
- Technical degree required with broad, general knowledge on mechanical and electrical engineering
- At least 7 years of experience on a similar position with the capacity to lead and supervise the work of suppliers and installers
- Strong experience in technical machine or system field installation
- Good competencies in electrical and mechanical installation and commissioning
- Ability to work on various tasks from mechanical installation to safety procedures implementation
- "Safety first" minded and quality oriented: A strong understanding of specific local working practices and safety regulations
- Flexibility with up to 100% travel during work hours - This role will spend up to 4-5 days per week on-site at various client deployment projects across Europe (with ability to travel back to home address each weekend).
- Advanced or full professional fluency in both English and German
- High autonomy level: capacity to work alone on a remote site
- At ease with manual work
