Job Description
This role is hybrid remote with 60% weekly in-office presence in Mooresville, NC. (3 days in office per week)
- Develop and optimize comprehensive account strategies, driving impactful sales revenue growth that will propel our account partnership forward both in-store and online.
- Prepare and own effective business cases for annual (or incremental) investment to drive the necessary sales trajectory.
- Develop and grow strong internal partnerships that help facilitate efficient planning and collaboration.
- Manage account-specific growth programs to maximize ROI and drive sales growth & trajectory.
- Oversee the development and localization of partner pitch materials, delivering compelling category product pitches.
- Lead a data-driven communication strategy, leveraging insights to inform tactical and strategic decisions that drive business outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the competitive retail landscape, providing strategic recommendations that inform business planning and decision-making, driving innovation and growth.
- Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives, establishing a consistent set of KPIs to measure and maintain success.
- Collaborate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to inform production forecasting and ensure efficient supply chain execution. Implement data-driven strategies for product allocation and oversee open account orders to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and optimize business performance.
- Grow and nurture a high-performing team with skills necessary for long-term growth and success, both within and outside their department.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience as a Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, Business Development Manager or Senior Sales Representative (with National Retail accounts)
- University Degree or College Diploma preferred (or equivalent 5-7 years of related work experience)
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP and/or CRM experience preferred
- Excellent presentation, forecasting and analytical skills with a strategic mindset
- Organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Ability to travel up to 20%
