About the role
Sfakianakis Group, a leading company in the automotive sector, is seeking to hire for its headquarters (Athens, Votanikos):
Logistics & Planning Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Participates in the planning of orders and the vehicle reception process.
- Collects and analyzes data related to the operations and processes of the department (e.g., import-delivery time, model availability, etc.), as well as the costs of importing, transporting, and storing vehicles.
- Supports demand forecasting and decision-making in planning by monitoring sales data, inventory, market trends, and historical data.
- Collaborates closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Imports departments to manage vehicle inventory, ensuring smooth workflow and effective information exchange.
- Prepares and communicates delivery plans to dealers.
- Inputs and updates data in the department’s ERP systems.
- Supports order and vehicle distribution procedures for the Group’s international partners (Albania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia).
Required Qualifications:
- University or Technological Educational Institute (TEI/AEI) degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Postgraduate studies in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or relevant certifications are desirable.
- Excellent command of English (spoken & written).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially advanced MS Excel.
- Experience with ERP or logistics software is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience, ideally in processing, monitoring, and analyzing business data.
- Prior experience in logistics or supply chain operations will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus.
