Associate Manufacturing Planner

As Associate Manufacturing Planner, you'll be an integral part of our Production and Supply Chain team to ensure successful and timely delivery of our world class products to our customers. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is passionate about helping Shield AI achieve our mission and delight our customers.  

What you'll do:

• Plan and prepare production orders to support delivery schedule. 
• Maintain running work orders and inventory with use of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. 
• Plan sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers. .  
• Expedite operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.  
• Plan and schedule workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.  
• Prepare production reports, required materials, tools and equipment lists.  
• Reviews, analyzes, modifies, and implements efficient and effective department processes, policies, and procedures.  
• Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.  
• Manage inventory levels, identify exceptions, and develop resolutions to large variances to these levels in order to escalate or take corrective action.  
• Monitor inventory ensure optimal customer service and high on time delivery percentage.   
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.  
• Performs other related duties as required 
• Work cross functionally with other departments to understand changes or risks that impact production or delivery timeline 
• Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.
• Improving pack out process and component shortage identification  

Required qualifications:

• 2-4 years experience in production planning  
• Experience using planning software and familiarity with MRP/MPS 
• You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others   

Preferred qualifications:

• APICS certification preferred

Salary Range: $56,980- $91,020 Annually + Bonus + Benefits + Equity (if applicable)
