About the Department:

Commonwealth ChalleNGe Youth Academy's purpose is to intervene in the lives of 16-18 year old teenagers by providing the values, skills, education, and self-discipline needed to produce responsible, productive, citizens, and to do so in a highly structured learning environment.

About the Position:

The incumbent of this position will assist in food preparation and serving students to ensure appropriate sanitation, food handling and safety requirements are met;

This position requires evening and weekend flexibility as this is a residential program and students are on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to work evenings and weekends;

Knowledge of food preparation;

Experience in serving, chilling, and producing breakfast, lunch, dinner and this includes snacks;

Experience in cooking from scratch, temperature experience, measurements and health codes;

Ability to operate kitchen equipment;

Knowledge of proper sanitation methods;

Health Card required.
