The Senior Analyst, People Partner & Executive Assistant will be the go-to partner who keeps our People team running smoothly while helping drive big-picture projects across the People team of end-to-end Sam’s Club.
This role blends coordination and impact and is perfect for someone who thrives on making things happen behind the scenes. This role is where your organization, communication, and problem-solving skills help power the People team’s mission across Sam’s Club.
As a key member of the agile and dynamic People team at Sam’s Club, this role supports the Vice President of People end-to-end and plays a vital part in connecting strategy to execution across this segment of business. In addition to driving alignment and supporting high-impact initiatives, this role is essential in managing day-to-day executive operations, ensuring calendars, communications, and priorities are handled with precision and care. You’ll also collaborate closely with other Executive Assistants to help keep the People team running smoothly and effectively.
What you’ll do:
Executive Support & Calendar Management: Manage complex scheduling, travel coordination, and day-to-day administrative needs for the VP of People E2E. This includes anticipating priorities, preparing materials, and ensuring the leader is set up for success in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Information & Document Management: Draft, edit, and manage communications, presentations, and reports. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and ensure timely and accurate documentation of key initiatives
Project Coordination Across People End-to-end functions and teams: Support and track initiatives that span the People team supporting the E2E organization and beyond. This includes helping to align timelines, follow up on deliverables, and ensure visibility across the People team and business partners
Team Operations & Communication Hub: Act as the connective tissue across the People team by coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, capturing action items, and ensuring follow-through. Serve as a liaison between the VP and internal/external stakeholders
Collaboration with EA Network: Partner closely with other Executive Assistants across the People team and the broader EA community to ensure consistency, share best practices, and support enterprise-wide coordination
What you’ll bring:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, human resources, executive administrative support, or comparable roles
Experience with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate pivot tables, apply complex formulas, and analyze large data sets to support reporting, forecasting, and decision-making processes
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Copilot, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with demonstrated ability to create and manage documents, presentations, and professional correspondence to support daily business operations and strategic initiatives
Provides high-level administrative and strategic support to C-suite and senior leadership, including managing complex travel arrangements, processing expense reports, and coordinating executive-level meetings and events to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization, while remaining comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
