This position is located at our manufacturing, developing, and testing facility in Briggs, TX, north of Austin, TX.

SUMMARY

Join our dynamic team of highly skilled machinists with a combined experience of over 300 years of machining who will mentor you to manufacture cutting edge components with the latest tools available in the industry. The successful candidate will pull working kit lists for the machinist. You will perform a variety of duties pertaining to receiving, identifying, distributing, and picking inventory/materials in the most efficient manner. This position will have a strong focus on tracking and maintaining inventory levels with a digital record & communicating all information back to the Tooling Supervisor. We pride ourselves on cross training all machinist on every piece of machinery we have.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize Speroni Presetting, Haimer Balancing and Heat Shrink equipment in the most effective and efficient manner in a low volume high mix environment
  • Pull working kit lists for the Machinists
  • Perform a variety of duties pertaining to receiving, identifying, distributing, and picking inventory/materials
  • Strong focus on tracking and maintaining inventory levels with a digital record & communicating all information back to the Tooling Supervisor
  • Prepare inventory counts as needed and establish min/max levels based on data
  • Perform 5S in the Tool Room area, and work holding racks
  • Properly stage, and document Tool Kits to be sent to the Manufacturing Floor
  • Order, receive, store and issue tools, equipment, PPE and other items to employees needed for daily production needs

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D
  • Working knowledge of MS Office-Outlook, Excel, Word and have exceptional data entry skills
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and follow work instructions
  • Work with a diverse range of personality
