Delivery Driver Helper

Job Summary

 

Delivery Driver Helpers assist Delivery Drivers to safely and efficiently deliver the company’s products (cases and kegs) to On-Premise and Off-Premise retail accounts from a commercial truck.

 

Major Functions

 

1. Driver Assistance
   1. Help drivers complete the assigned route in a safe, accurate and efficient manner in varying weather conditions and challenging environments (i.e., stairs, curbs, docks, tight parking lots)
   2. Execute quality of service in accounts including:  rotation, stocking shelves, building displays, and organizing products

 

1. Safety & Compliance
   1. ​​​​​​​Must comply with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) rules and regulations in addition to the Coors Distributing Company Policies and Procedures

 

Other Functions

 

• Other duties as assigned

 

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

 

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have the ability to work well with different personalities on a daily basis in a fast-paced, physically demanding work environment
• Must have excellent communication skills

 

Working conditions

 

• This position is subject to varying start times and all work must be completed daily
• Requires face to face contact with customers in the market

 

Physical requirements

 

• Must be physically capable of handling and delivering between 500 and 1,000 30 lb. cases every day and lifting up 165 lbs. consistently on a daily basis
• This position will be subject to assisting a driver who might be on light duty, thus resulting in the physical labor being performed solely by the Driver Helper
