Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist in Indianapolis, IN to support shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This position plays a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency to support engineering and project execution.
This is a hands-on warehouse position requiring experience in logistics, inventory management, and ERP/WMS systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily warehouse operations: receiving, inspection, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and shipping
  • Verify inbound shipments for accuracy, condition, and documentation compliance
  • Process transactions using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system integrity
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and shipment issues
  • Conduct cycle counts and support inventory audits
  • Ensure proper material handling, labeling, and storage standards
  • Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, and internal teams to resolve material issues
  • Prepare materials to support engineering and project teams
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment
  • Follow all warehouse safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations
  • Minimum 4+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience
  • Experience using ERP systems or WMS platforms required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 55 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, or automation environments
